韩国首尔abc大楼|The ABC Building|Wise Architecture

ABC大楼位于SeonJeong王陵附近，这里位于韩国古老首尔的江南区，历史悠久。江南区一些高大显眼的建筑阻挡了项目场地看向王陵公园的视野，但是站在这座五层建筑的屋顶上视野会突然开阔，可以欣赏到公园优美的景色。该建筑可被视为“建筑山峰”，屋顶露台可被视为“建筑峰顶”。人们由狭窄的室外楼梯可以爬上建筑。这五部楼梯向公众开放，或像小溪一样流淌下来，或作为阶梯式的种植墙花园。人们在砖结构的楼梯侧墙内可以看到静谧优美的景色，到达屋顶后则可以看到远处王陵公园的风景。

在建材方面，黑砖是这座建筑最明显的材料，代表了对历史公园的尊重。该建筑最下面是铺设在地面上的砖结构。从建筑中间开始，结构变为钢框架体系和干砌砖墙外立面，没有采用传统砂浆砌筑。这样的设计使多层的实心砖墙变得通透。

除了创新的砌砖方法，该建筑的特点还有采用了简约的设计，表现为布局清晰以及功能相同的砖墙的重要性。建筑就是简约和构造和构造的简约，对这二者要同时加以理解。

From the architect. The ABC Building is located around SeonJeong Royal Tomb with history of old Seoul in Gangnam area in Korea. The boastful – glaring buildings in Gangnam block view from the site to the royal tombs park while the roof of five story building suddenly opens view to beautiful landscape of the park. The building can be regarded as “Architectural Mountain” the roof terrace as “Architectural Summit”. People climb up the building by narrow exterior stair alleys. These five stair alleys opened to public are cascaded like small stream falls or stepped vegetation wall garden. The passenger meets silent and beautiful sceneries from inside of bricks stair alley wall and outside from the royal tombs park to reach the top of the building.

In terms of building material, the black brick is the most visible material in the Building. Black bricks present the respect to the historical park. The building starts with laying a piece of brick on the ground. From middle of the building, it changed to the steel frame system and dry brick wall fabrication façade without traditional mortar masonry.  It creates transparent experience of solid brick wall with multiple brick wall layers.

Besides of its innovative brick construction method, the potential of this building begins with its simplicity which would be represented by clear layout, the materiality of brick wall applied in same way. Architecture is the construction of simplicity and the simplicity of construction, understood simultaneously.
